Dr. Hüseyin Sahinbas is considered one of the leading European experts for hyperthermia in oncological treatment. He is a radiology specialist with focus on interventional microtherapy (based on his many years at Grönemeyer Institute) as well as a radiation oncology specialist and holds multiple additional qualifications in complementary medicine, TCM, and palliative medicine. He is a senior physician at the Clinic for Radiation Therapy and Radiation Oncology in Bochum and a key member of the Institute for Hyperthermia Research at Ruhr University in Bochum, having established his own private practice for hyperthermia and complementary medicine with a primary focus on oncology in 2010. Since May 2018 he is president of the German Society for Hyperthermia and he is a frequent international speaker on the above-listed topics.
